For most of us, we don’t have any memory of anyone besides Queen Elizabeth II as the leader of Britain and The Commonwealth. She is the longest reigning monarch in the world and has been on the throne 70 years, having become queen at age 25 on February 6, 1952 after her father’s death. Her coronation took place the following year on June 2, 1953.
First off some important information. AT&T has been suffering with a major outage for three weeks with no estimate about when service will be restored. It’s been a hard four months. Do you ever have those seasons? It seems like death is always hanging around. If I never go to another funeral I’ll be fine. Long ago, in a small town not so very far away, our very young grandson was spending the day with us. Star Wars Episode 1 was rather recent and there he was parked three feet from the TV screen. Little kids loved the movie because the hero, young Anakin Skywalker, was played by 10-year-old Jake Lloyd.
