Memorial Day will be celebrated next Monday, May 31. In Rockdale the VFW and the American Legion will be putting up a flag display at Bridge Park to honor all the soldiers who’ve lost their lives fighting for our country.
Life begins after graduating high school

I’m in the middle of a vacation. Actually a stay-cation because I’m at home. Mom and Dad left for Fredericksburg last Friday for a week to join in all of the graduation hubbub for their grandson, Will. I’m sure they needed a break from me as well.
Listen to God, he’s been there all the time

I was reading last week in the Book of Exodus. I know The Old Testament is not thought of as exciting reading and sometimes we don’t relate the stories to our lives in 2021, but humor me for a few minutes and listen to a story about the most commanding figure of the ancient world.
