Mayor John King officially declared Friday, April 22, as Earth Day in Rockdale. To honor Earth Day, Rockdale Earth Day members decorated the library with all things Earth Day. There are displays about recycling, gardening, the posters from the junior high artists about the Rockdale Earth Day organization.

Place of Hope will be holding their 10th anniversary “Hope Night Celebrates” fundraiser party at 6 p.m. Friday, April 22, at The Milam County Cowboy Church.
Rockdale High School’s One Act Play, “To Burn a Witch,” will be performed at RHS auditorium on Friday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m.
