Kayla Renee Faust and Allen O’Neil Faust of Rockdale announce the birth of their son, Casen Allen Faust, on May 8, 2020, at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 21½ inches long. Grandparents are Donna Garrison of Rockdale, Cindy Miller Faust of Robinson, Randy and Mary Faust of Pettibone. Great-grandarents are Darlene Applegate and Ernest Moseley of Davilla, Louis Miller of Rockdale and Roy Lean Faust of Pettibone.

Still helping seniors

The Rockdale Senior Citizens Center continues to assist senior citizens by distributing free frozen diners during the COVID-19 crisis. Carolyn Cooper, center director, said about 400 were given way Thursday. All had previously signed up to receive the meals. From left, Shan Wilson receives food from Cooper, and Albert Isom loads a vehicle for delivery. Cooper said those who did not pick up dinners may do so this Thursday. A new round of distributions starts May 21.
