Unless Rockdale rallies to its cause, again, a town landmark may become a victim of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This year’s annual Rockdale Chamber of Commerce Banquet was canceled but over the past few years the annual awards were bestowed at the Chamber headquarters as follows:
YARD OF THE MONTH—The Yard of the Month for July, sponsored by Rockdale Earth Day, is the home of Pam and Aaron Kalbas at 722 Cedar Avenue. They will receive a $25 gift certificate to Bloomers Garden Center in Elgin. Pictured here are Pam and children Ellie, Elijah, Ethan and Lonnie. The deadline to nominate a yard for August is July 20.
