LEXINGTON—The University Interscholastic League is not “throwing a flag” on Rockdale and Lexington after a fight erupted at Eagle Field Friday night following the Rockdale-Lexington football game.
Milam County’s fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic is far from over but it’s definitely been heading in the right direction.
Rockdale City Council members, meeting online Monday in their regular September session, voted to accept the $100,000 proposal from Collier and Peggy Perry to purchase the Old City Hall building.
There won’t be a barbecue cookoff or auto show at the Rockdale Fair this year, due to the pandemic, but similar events will be staged at Apache Pass by non-Fair organizers.
It’s an election in the Rockdale Independent School District that doesn’t have anything to do with the schools or students.
