THE CONCRETE WORK CONTINUES—Tx D O T ’s downtown Rockdale project continues with concrete being poured on the south side of US 79 in front of Citizens National Bank and in front of the old Gaither Ford building which now houses L&L Food Salvage. Work has also begun in front of the Rockdale Police Station. The Reporter has reached out for an update to a representative at TxDOT and we will share the official updated information with our readers as soon as we receive the report. Rockdalians have been curious about the timeline of this project and have specific questions. The Reporter hopes to answer these questions for our readers.
