This morning our 3rd grade reached the red threshold of active COVID cases. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 1, all 3rd graders will be quarantined at home with remote conferencing.
RISD officials decided to quarantine the 4th-grade at Rockdale Intermediate School for the next 10 days.
Milam County Judge Steve Young had the unfortunate task of reporting a second COVID-19 related death in as many days Thursday night.
"Today, we report our 58th COVID-19 related death in Milam County," county judge Steve Young wrote in a Wednesday night email.
