A home victory Saturday afternoon over Granger, 25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17 meant the Lady Dog volleyball team finished in second place in District 25-2A.
On Tuesday evening, the Lady Tiger volleyball team concluded district play with a loss to Cameron at Tiger Gym, 21-25, 17-25, 25-22, 21-25.
On Monday, Milano’s Kadance Koenig and Rockdale’s Jesus Bocanegra raced in two different parts of the state, but both ended the day with one thing in common: they each earned a trip to the state cross country meet to be held at Round Rock’s Old Settlers Park in early November.
On Saturday afternoon, the Lady Eagle volleyball team ended their year with a 3-0 shutout over Bartlett (25-11, 25-7, 25-10) at the Geneva Paceley Gymnasium.
